Sarah's Baby Shower!

When my best friend, Sarah told me she was pregnant I couldn't have been more excited! They were moving home from Pensacola, Florida, so I would be able to see the baby AND throw her a shower!! As soon as she had her theme picked out, I was ready to go! Before we decided to start It's an Eventful Life, I asked Michelle if she would help me plan this shower. We had so much fun planning! I am so glad that Sarah loved it! There is a full post on It's an Eventful Life, but here are some of my favorite parts!

Bunting! Tons and tons of bunting! I am obsessed with this stuff! It's such a fun and whimsical way to decorate! The bunting was made of fabric and sewn by hand (our hands) to brown ribbon. Beautiful!

This is the dessert table. Since the theme of baby Robert's room will be lambs, everything was lamb themed. Complete with a "Sweets for ewe" banner!

The centerpieces were simple and adorable... baby's breath in baby food jars!

We served light salads and tea sandwiches. Perfect for an afternoon get-together!

The gift table said "ewe are loved"... cute!

Baby shower games and prizes!

Instead of a guestbook, I had guests use their thumbprints and signatures to make a picture for Robert!

I hung each of the onesies, bibs and diaper covers I had made.

The favors were chocolate sugar cookies. My mom made the adorable tags that read "thank ewe for coming".

Sweets for the dessert table and the fondant covered chocolate cake. The cake had mini bunting to match the room! Told ya; I'm obsessed.

I had embroidered a little lamb for Robert's nursery!

She is going to be SUCH a great Mama!!!

I am so honored to have been able to throw this shower for Sarah! I couldn't have done it without Michelle, Mom and Becky!!
Thanks for these pictures, Michelle!!

About Me

Basically, the Pioneer Woman is my hero. I'd love to live on a sprawling ranch, cook all day and raise my gorgeous children. As for now, though, that will have to wait. This will most likely be a very random blog, covering things like parenting a pig, crafting, teaching myself how to sew, cooking, and whatever else I happen to think of. Hope you enjoy!
